SETEX successfully completed the required product certifications for OEKO-TEX® MADE IN GREEN and is thrilled to be able to provide all its customers with SETEX products that have been certified as being high-quality, environmentally friendly, and manufactured under socially-responsible working conditions.

The OEKO-TEX® MADE IN GREEN label

brings the already high standards of German production up another notch. The entire supply chain of the fully integrated “Made in Germany” production was successfully certified from the making of the fibre to the finished product:

• SETEX Dingden (weaving mill, dye works, equipment, lamination), Certification number: 17000222 HOHENSTEIN
• SETEX Textilveredlung Bocholt(Färberei, Ausrüstung), Certification number: 17000378 HOHENSTEIN 
• Lubatex Lubawka (Konfektion), Certification number: 17000435 HOHENSTEIN 

The quality criteria with respect to “fair, socially acceptable employment” applies to all manufacturing locations involved in the supply chain of the respective items, and not just to our locations/plants and subsidiaries here in Germany; it also applies to our suppliers. Even participating international companies that manufacture finished products or accessory parts that are to be affixed with the OEKO-TEX® MADE IN GREEN label are closely monitored and documented with respect to the working conditions of the employees working in the manufacturing locations – this applies worldwide.

This certificate is an independent textile label to identify consumer goods and semi-finished goods at all levels of the textile chain that are made with materials that have been tested for contaminants, using environmentally-friendly processes, under safe and socially-responsible working conditions.

In addition, any item bearing the OEKO-TEX® MADE IN GREEN label can be transparently traced by the consumer via a unique product ID or QR code. The labelling system provides information on which plants in the textile manufacturing chain the fabric was produced in, which production stage the participating plants belong to and which country the process took place in.This quality seal therefore guarantees to the customer that not just the product, but everything involved in its production is “green”.
